Error: 'There is a problem with Adobe Reader' (523:523)

If you see this error when viewing documents in Adobe Reader, change these settings to resolve it.

  1. Open Adobe Reader.

  2. Click **Edit**, then click **Preferences**.

  3. In the **Categories** list, click **Security (Enhanced)**.

  4. Clear the following checkboxes:

    • Clear the **Enable Protected Mode at startup** checkbox.

    • Clear the **Enable Enhanced Security** checkbox.

  5. In the **Categories** list, click **Javascript**.

  6. Clear the following checkbox:

    • Clear the **Enable global object security policy** checkbox.

  7. Click **OK**.
