Error retrieving document
An ExceptionInfo whose value is:
p: Error retrieving document ----> ADMS_API.ADMSAPIException: Unable to load product at ADMS_API.ADMSIntegratrionProduct.GetIntegrationProduct(ADMSConnection conn, String ProductName)

This error is likely occurring due to a missing or corrupt integration link.

To resolve this error you should:

  1. Know which product the error is happening within

  2. Have access to the ADM Client application

  3. Be an Administrator user of ADM

When you have all three proceed with the steps below as a guide to resolving the problem.

  1. First gather the information about what product the error is occurring within.

    • *this will determine the IntegrationLinks.xml file you require*

  2. The Product Integration links are a set of xml code. The relevant application's IntegrationLink xml files are normally installed alongside the application in a subdirectory of the application root folder.

  3. Once you've located the .xml file(s) for the Integration links it's time to connect to the ADM database.

  4. Open ADM Client and log in with an ADM Administrator user

  5. Once logged in click on System Control, Integration Links, Import IntegrationLink Settings

  6. Use the three dot button to open file explorer and locate the {productintegrationlink.xml} file

  7. Click on the Green Plus button to add a Database and use your TAB key on the keyboard to enter multiple Databases

  8. Click Import to add the IntegrationLink settings for this product and to the Database(s)

  9. You should now be able to open your record in the application and edit/add documents.
