📌 Note: This article only applies if you are an Access Document customer. If you host your own Access Document Management database, some parts may still be helpful.
Access Document when hosted by Access works via an integration with the Access Document web service at https://document.accessacloud.com. User credentials are used to authenticate access to the relevant document database. If you see this error, it could indicate either:
An invalid set of Access Document credentials being passed from your user to the Access Document webservice
OR
An internal network issue
First check the Access Document credentials are valid. To do this:
In a web browser go to the Access Document login page.
Log in with the same Access Document user your FocalPoint user is connected to.
If you need to check this, find it in Dimensions under User Records.
If you can log in successfully on this webpage, then the problem is not related to your credentials.
In this case, move on to the internal network issue checks below.
Check the acloud status page for any known incidents. If no Access Document incidents are listed, ask your IT team to investigate why the URL above might not be accessible on the network. Check whether the issue affects all users or just one PC.
Try another web browser, if you are using FocalPoint.
Disconnect from any VPN/Remote Desktop sessions you are on and reconnect.
