Documents are splitting even when there is no barcode on a page

This can be a couple of things, the first and most likely is that the scanner has been set to single page Tif files, as such it is creating a file for each page which is then uploaded from the watch folder.

To resolve this, you would need to speak to your IT department or Scanner provider to change the scanning settings to multipage Tif.

If the scanner is set to multipage Tif the next step is to check the watch folder settings. Logged in as an Administrator in the ADM client do the following.

  1. Click System Control then click Document Processing.

  2. Click Watch Folders.

  3. Click the Watch Folder to edit and Select Edit Watch Folder.

  4. Click the Document Processing tab.

  5. Make sure that Create a new ADM Document for each page in source file is not selected and select appropriate.

  6. Click OK.
