Documents split even when there is no barcode on a page

Documents can split for two reasons. The most common is that the scanner is set to single-page TIFF files, creating one file per page that is then uploaded from the watch folder. Speak to your IT department or scanner provider to change the scanning settings to multi-page TIFF. If the scanner is already set to multi-page TIFF, log in to the ADM client as an administrator and follow these steps to check the watch folder settings:

  1. Click System Control, then click Document Processing.

  2. Click Watch Folders.

  3. Click the watch folder to edit, then click Edit Watch Folder.

  4. Click the Document Processing tab.

  5. Ensure the Create a new ADM Document for each page in source file checkbox is not selected, and select the appropriate option.

  6. Click OK.
