Folders within ADM give permissions to users based on what user groups they are a part of. If some users are able to view specific documents within ADM and some are not, this would indicate that the users who cannot see documents are not a member of a specific user group.

βChecking the permissions of the folders
We can check what user groups are able to view specific document types within ADM
Open the ADM Client and Log In with an admin account.
Navigate to System Control, Folder Structure and click Manage Structure
In this section, you will see a list of folders and where transaction types are stored. Permissions on these folders are inherited from higher folders, so navigate the folders until you find the relevant transaction type.
Select the folder and click Edit Folder.
Select the Permissions tab. It will show you a list of all of the user groups and what permissions they have to it. Any group with the View permission will be able to see documents inside of it.
Adding a user to a user group
β
Once you have identified what user groups can see the documents, we can then check to see if affected users are a part of the user group.
Navigate to System Control, User Settings, Manage Groups. You will see a list of all user groups that have been set up within ADM.
Select the user group that can view these documents and select Edit Group.
Select the Members tab. This will show a list of users that are a part of this user group.
If the affected users are not a part of this group, they can be added by pressing the Add User button and selecting the user from the list.
